Yes, setup requires the Woddle Baby app. Once connected, you don’t need the app open to record data.
Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, then follow in-app pairing prompts. Make sure you're connected to a 2.4GHz network and not a 5GHz network.
To connect a second changing pad, open the app and go to Settings → Changing Pads, then tap Connect Another Woddle Changing Pad and follow the in-app prompts to complete the pairing.
Open the Woddle app and go to Settings → Users → Invite a User.

After completing these steps, both accounts will be automatically linked.
The changing pad does require connection to an app for set up and initial use. However, the smart phone does not need to be present and/or app opened when regularly entering data on the changing pad.
Anyone with an account associated with the baby can record data on the pad. The data entered on the changing pad is not associated with a particular user, just the specified baby.
The changing pad only requires, and can only be associated with, one smartphone for setup purposes only. All other users do not need to pair their smartphone to the changing pad.
To delete your account, go to the More section from the bottom navigation of the Woddle Baby app, scroll to the bottom and select Delete Account. Please note that all accounts that are deleted, and all their related data, cannot be restored.
The Woddle Smart Changing Pad has more than a dozen sound options available, including 5 classical songs and 5 lullabies. Additionally, nature sounds and room sounds are available.
It can take up to 30 minutes for the changing pad to reach its maximum temperature of 90 degrees fahrenheit. However, most users see it reach maximum temperature within 10 minutes.
Yes, the Woddle changing pad is designed to be safely left on continuously. The warmer includes built-in temperature regulation and safety controls to maintain a consistent, safe level of warmth without overheating, so it’s always ready for your baby.
Yes. The Woddle changing pad includes a weighted breastfeeding feature that allows you to weigh your baby before and after a feeding to calculate the approximate milk intake. The result is automatically saved in the app for tracking purposes. An advanced calibration using a known weighted object is required before you can use the weighted breastfeeding option.
The Woddle changing pad scale is designed to be accurate within 2–5 grams under normal use. For optimal accuracy, make sure the pad is properly calibrated, placed on a flat and firm surface, not touching any walls or furniture, and that nothing, including light blankets and toys, is left on top of the changing pad when it’s not in use.
- Make sure the power cord is securely connected to both the Woddle Smart Changing Pad and the wall outlet.
- Test the wall outlet with another device to confirm it’s working properly.
- Unplug the changing pad, wait 5 minutes, and then plug it back in.
- Try charging another device using the same cable and power adapter to confirm the charger is working.
- If the other device does not turn on, test each component separately (first the cable, then the power adapter) to identify whether the issue is with the pad, the cable, or the power supply.
- If the device is still not working or the charger appears to be defective, please contact our support team for further assistance or to request a replacement charger.
- Ensure the pad is on a flat, firm surface.
- Make sure the pad is not touching any walls, the sides of furniture or anything else.
- Remove any objects that may be on the changing pad.
- Recalibrate via the changing pad.
- Update firmware if needed.
- Do not leave anything on top of the changing pad when it’s not in use, as this may interfere with accuracy.
Please note, the weight is most accurate when you conduct an advanced calibration using the following items:
- Unopened 5lb bag of flour
- Unopened 5lb bag of rice
- Unopened jug of water
Using non-calibrated dumbells, unopened aluminum cans, large plastic containers or combining multiple objects may result in inaccurate weights.
Tip for safety belt users: For the most accurate readings, we recommend calibrating the pad the same way you plan to use it. If you typically use the safety belt while weighing your baby, attach the safety belt to the pad when calibrating. If you do not use the safety belt while weighing, calibrate without it. Calibrating with the belt and weighing without it (or vice versa) may add a small amount of inaccuracy to the reading.
- Ensure Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and location services are enabled on your smartphone and that the changing pad is within range.
- Confirm that you have entered the correct password for your WiFi; if your network does not have a password, leave that field blank.

- Close the Woddle Baby app completely and restart it. Additionally, unplug the changing pad, wait 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.
- Delete app, and download again
- Pair again
- Ensure that both the app and the changing pad’s firmware are up to date.

- Verify your changing pad is connected to the Internet and your Wifi is working. If the Wifi icon is not showing on the changing pad, or your Wifi is out, you will need to restore connection before sending data. You can do that by tapping the gear icon on the changing pad.
- Verify that your baby’s name(s) are on the top of the changing pad. If your baby’s name is appearing on the changing pad, but you are getting the data failed error message, proceed to step 3. If the baby’s name is not on the top, go to settings and reset your pad. It is possible the connection has been lost.
- Go into the app to Settings → Changing Pads section and look to see if your changing pad is still connected, grayed out or if it says Connect Changing Pad. If your changing pad is still connected and you see the baby’s name on the changing pad, please contact Customer Support. If the changing pad is grayed out, you will need to reset the changing pad.
- Check power cord
- Let the pad cool if overheated.
- Contact support for unusual heating or display issues.
If you are having trouble logging in to the app, please verify your login credentials and reset your password if needed. Additionally, please confirm that your phone is connected to the internet as the app requires a data connection to work.
- Ensure the device is using the original accessories and is plugged into the wall outlet. If it is plugged into a computer or other device, it may not ever reach maximum temperature.
- If the device is plugged into the wall outlet, and you’ve waited 30 minutes to reach the maximum temperature, verify you are on the most updated version of the firmware.
- Switch the orientation of the power cable, connecting the cable ends the other way around.
- If all the above are correct, please contact customer support.
If it shows just a 0, entering 0000 on the app should allow you to connect successfully.
If it shows only two digits, enter those two digits followed by 00.

The changing pad has met all federal guidelines for EMF levels. Our internal testing has shown zero EMF for something on the changing pad and levels equivalent with a refrigerator in front of the changing pad screen. The EMF is a result of the changing pad’s WiFi connectivity, computer screen and electrical plug.

It’s roughly like leaving a ~27W light bulb on all day. While our power supply is rated for a maximum of 45W, the pad itself only consumes up to 27W at maximum temperature with all functions active, which provides a built-in safety margin. If it were to run at full power 24/7, it would use about 0.65 kWh per day (0.027 kW × 24 hours), and at an average electricity cost of $0.18/kWh, that comes out to about $43 per year in a worst-case estimate.
